This position is located at the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, KS. The incumbent is responsible for performing duties and tasks related to the proper receipt, storage, and preparation of submitted equipment, supplies and related materials.
- Uses initiative in developing plans for the movement of materials.
- Receives, locates, stores, delivers, and ships materials in accordance with established procedures and operating requirements.
- Follows established documentation, safety, orderly and clean environment, movement, and other requirements.
- Maintains an orderly storage area and adequate supply level of shipping materials.
- Ensures the maintenance and security of the Loading Dock area.
