A day in the life:

As a Warehouse and Production Operator for CVRx, you are an important member of our Operations team. You will be Responsible primarily for shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory movement, and labeling/packaging, while also providing production support in the controlled environmental area as needed. This position requires high attention to detail in the physical movement and accurate recording of materials and products in both physical and web-based systems. Works within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, manufacturing processes, and applicable company and regulatory guidelines.

This role performs detailed assembly of very small components used in implantable medical devices and requires fine motor skills, manual dexterity, precision, and close attention to detail.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Shipping

• Prepare shipments and create accurate records per SOPs, including physical preparation for global and domestic shipments, obtaining freight quotes, and scheduling and managing carrier pickups.
• Update applicable Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and tracking systems, including QAD, Salesforce, and Finished Goods monitoring files.

Receiving

• Receive, unpack, and count deliveries against purchase orders (POs) and communicate discrepancies.
• Prepare receiving records for quality inspection. Review and store records once materials are inspected and approved.
• Distribute incoming packages within the site and ensure materials are routed to the appropriate storage or work area.

Material Handling and Inventory

• Perform physical movement, staging, storage, and organization of components, materials, and finished goods; update MRP systems as required.
• Support quarterly and annual cycle counts and document results in the proper reports.
• Support production (cleanroom/CAE) with components needed to meet the production schedule, including cleaning components moving from the warehouse to the controlled area and completing associated material transactions.

Production and General Support

• Perform labeling, packaging, and miscellaneous part assembly outside the cleanroom; provide cleanroom/CAE production or assembly support as assigned and trained.
• When supporting production, follow standard operating instructions, work instructions, and manufacturing processes; complete required production traceability documentation and utilize QAD as required.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and production work areas; identify opportunities to improve work procedures and efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent. Fluent/proficient in spoken and written English.
• 1-3 years of prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, material handling, and manufacturing assembly in the medical device industry.
• Recent experience with warehouse shipping/receiving or material handling in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Recent experience with product assembly in a cleanroom/Controlled Access Environment (CAE), preferably in a medical device company working with very small components.
• Solid hand-eye coordination skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate material, inventory, and production records.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to understand and interface with MRP/shop floor software programs, including QAD as required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in coordination with Operations and Quality.
• Ability to use a hand truck to move items within the storage area and to support material movement between warehouse and production areas.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in assembly of implantable medical devices (Class III) in a clean room (CAE) environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• 8 hour workdays from 7:00 - 3:30 PM Central Time
• Controlled Access Environment (CAD) working conditions; including gowning, wearing of hairnets, gloves, special footwear and cleanroom smock)
• Occasionally scheduled overtime may be required
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds
• Manual assembly using small tools and microscopes

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Hourly pay for this role for U.S locations (USD): $23.00 per hour. The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.
